This site will help to connect bilingual, international pen pals from around the world. We hope to connect pen friends who are trying to learn a language with other pen friends who speak that language.
What’s so great about having bilingual pen friends?
1. Learn a foreign language
If you’ve ever tried to learn a foreign language, you know how difficult it can be. Being able to consistently practice with someone who speaks the language is key to improving in speaking skills. And yet you may not be lucky enough to have someone who speaks the language around you to talk to.
That’s where having a bilingual pen friend comes in. International pen pals are a great way to learn a foreign language without being bound by geography or distance.
2. Make friends and learn about different cultures
Having online pen pals can also make language learning more fun as you share cultures and personal interests while helping one another learn a new language. Having a bilingual pen pal can open up whole new worlds that you might never have known or experienced otherwise. If you ask people why they enjoy having international pen pals, you will hear about the life long friends they have met through learning a new language and discovering culture together.
